Buying Guide > Gardening Australia Drip Irrigation (September 2004)
The following table provides links to each of the items included in the Gardening Australia September 2004 Drip Irrigation article.
What happens at the tap
We have included a backflow prevention device as they are required by most Local Governments in Australia.
In your garden
Dripline in your lawn
We generally state that sub soil irrigation for lawns is a job best left to the experts as many factors such as soil type, slope compensation, application rates etc, need to be considered.
Many councils require the backflow prevention device above be replaced with a RPZ backflow prevention device if using a "root intrusion guard" and using mains water supply. We encourage you to contact your local council for their specific requirements.
