Hunter Battery Operated Controllers (SVC, WVS, WVP, WVC)

Hunter offer 2 different battery operated controller systems.

Hunter SVC Smart Valve Controllers

The Hunter SVC is a self contained battery operated controller with a small panel to enter the program. Information on it can be found here:

Hunter Wireless Valve System (WVS)

The Hunter WVC is a combination of a battery operated controller (WVC) and a wireless handheld programmer (WVP). While the controllers store their own irrigation programs and can run independantly of the programmer you need the programmer to upload and download programs from the controller. A single programmer can be used to program an almost unlimited number of controllers. Information on it can be found here:

Hunter Battery Operated Controllers

With both Hunter battery operated controllers you require 3 elements.

1. The controller - which holds your irrigation program. And a programmer in the case of the WVS
   
2. A 12vDC latching coil which takes a pulse from the controller that opens/closes the solenoid. It is actually much cheaper to purchase a 24vAC solenoid and replace the coil on it with a 12vDC latching coil
   
3. The solenoid itself which controls the flow of water
   

You need to ensure that you purchase all 3 elements. The items listed below - particular for the SVC range includes a combination of the elements so please read and order carefully.
