The quoted lengths and widths of our bladder tanks are the dimensions when the tanks are empty. The bladder tanks will get narrower and shorter as they fill. The quoted height is what the bladder tanks will reach under gravity fed stormwater. The height of the bladder tanks can also be limited see our bladder tank installation guide. The required clearance above the tank is 30mm (3cm). The quoted volume is the volume when the bladder tank reaches its quoted height.
Bladder tanks come with three 50mm male threaded connections (inlet at one end and an outlet at both ends of the tank). They also have a 15mm barbed connection in the middle at the top which behaves as an air relief valve. Bladder tanks are also supplied with an appropriate sized Geotextile ground sheet for the tank.
All Wet Earth Bladder tanks are made to order, so we can customise if required. We are currently dispatching on 15 to 20 business days from order.
We take a conservative approach to the volume rating. Be careful of other bladder tank suppliers who provide volumes that assume their tanks are cubes (ie L x W x max H x 1000).
